Qualifications |
I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2004. Since this time I have worked for the NHS in a variety of settings and I have steadily increased my independent work over the past few years.

Experience |
I have worked privately for many years, seeing toddlers, children and teens in their own homes. More recently I have also been offering online consultations. I support the parents, as well as the child, providing skills and knowledge to help them feel empowered to help.
I currently work for 3 days a week as Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS, working with babies and children who have a Hearing Impairment. In this role I support children who have hearing aids and cochlear implants. I work closely with families, nurseries and schools to ensure that each child reaches their potential. I have worked in a range of special schools since I qualified and I have worked with children with a wide range of difficulties. I am currently employed privately by local schools, which enables the settings to identify children with speech, language and communication needs and then plan effective management.
